Community Yom Hashoah Event

The Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County and MorseLife will collaborate on a community Yom Hashoah commemorative event on Thursday, May 1, 2008 at 7:30 pm at The Tradition of the Palm Beaches, 4920 Loring Drive in West Palm Beach. The event, open to the community, will include both youth and survivors, who will join together in a candle lighting. Students from the Teen Initiative of the Jewish Federation will present dramatic readings based upon their interviews with area survivors, culminating with a joint candle lighting between the youth and survivors. Also included will be a presentation from young people who were involved in the Paper Clips project in Tennessee, along with music and prayer.
