The vision of MorseLife Learning Institute is to be world-renowned for teaching best practices in healthcare and leadership. MorseLife Learning Institute will realize this vision through both quality traditional and online educational programs targeted to professionals and community.

Our goals are to enhance professional development through staff training; to offer programs on aging, wellness and advocacy to older adults and family caregivers; to provide quality clinical education to professionals within the healthcare field; and to share management, leadership and HR best practices with professionals in all fields.

The following audiences will be served by MorseLife Learning Institute:

Educational programs will be presented by experts within the MorseLife family and renowned educators/leaders in the field. Such presenters may include top faculty members from major institutions of higher learning, and physicians and clinical professionals from this country’s major medical centers. As an example of such programming, MorseLife presented “Shades of Gray: A Symposium on Aging” in November, 2008, which featured renowned geriatricians from Harvard University, University of Pennsylvania and Massachusetts General Hospital – and a second “Shades of Gray” symposium is scheduled for January 25, 2010.

MorseLife Learning Institute will offer various types of educational opportunities for targeted audiences, such as on-site lectures and seminars, online learning and webinars, video conferencing and hands-on programs.

MorseLife will identify lay leadership to oversee the structure of MorseLife Learning Institute in partnership with its Task Force. Among them will be retired physicians and other healthcare professionals. This will offer MorseLife the opportunity to engage a diverse group of prominent leaders with a particular interest in our mission.

MorseLife Foundation will seek a lead gift – a naming opportunity – in order to financially sustain MorseLife Learning Institute in perpetuity. This endowment funding, in combination with other revenue streams, will ensure that MorseLife Learning Institute will be self-sustaining over time.
