The Lifestyle of New York Cafe Society – 1935-1950, Art Collection at MorseLifeAs Drawn by Jaro Fabry

The extraordinary exhibit, “The Lifestyle of New York Cafe Society” is now on display in the Jean and Frederic Sharf Welcome Center in Morse Health Center. It features the works of Jaro Fabry, who was a a bright star inthe 1930s world of the New York Cafe Society. The group with whom he enjoyed this “lifestyle” were the subjects of his art.

Mr. and Mrs. Frederic Sharf, MorseLife benefactors and friends, have loaned this exhibit to MorseLife to be on display until it is transferred to the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston.
