Therapeutic Recreation Activities

The Therapeutic Recreation Department at the Morse Geriatric Center provides hands-on therapeutic interventions on the seven units in the Center. Therapeutic Recreation Assistants provide morning and afternoon programming in the dayrooms of the Edwards Pavilion (floors 2 & 3) and the Resnick Pavilion (floors 2, 3, & 4).

Our skilled team involves residents to the maximum of their abilities and enhances their quality of life through engaging programs. In addition to on-unit programming, there are a number of intellectually and socially stimulating groups which are held in the common areas of the Center and are open to all residents.
