Therapeutic Recreation Activities
The Therapeutic Recreation Department at the Morse Geriatric Center provides hands-on therapeutic interventions on the seven units in
the Center. Therapeutic Recreation Assistants provide morning and afternoon programming in the dayrooms of the Edwards Pavilion (floors
2 & 3) and the Resnick Pavilion (floors 2, 3, & 4).
Our skilled team involves residents to the maximum of their abilities and enhances their quality of life through engaging programs. In
addition to on-unit programming, there are a number of intellectually and socially stimulating groups which are held in the common areas
of the Center and are open to all residents.
Activities and therapeutic recreation programs are held seven days a week and include three evenings of programming weekly. The Therapeutic
