Mary Alice Pappas

Mary Alice Pappas is Senior Vice President of MorseLife Foundation, a position she has held since January, 2008. In her multi-faceted role, Ms. Pappas leads MorseLife’s initiative to build its major gifts, as well as oversee annual and planned giving and set strategic direction for marketing and development.

Ms. Pappas joined MorseLife from Northern Trust in Palm Beach where she served for more than seven years as Vice President, Wealth Strategist. Raised in Rochester, Minnesota, she began her career in the shadow of the renowned Mayo Clinic where she gained a deep appreciation for the importance of treating people with utmost respect and dignity in the health care setting. In her role at MorseLife, Ms. Pappas has come full circle – now working for a renowned charitable nonprofit that takes the concept of customer service, care with dignity and highest standards of excellence to grand levels.

With more than 30 years of leadership experience working for health care and financial and other service industry organizations, Pappas is well known nationally for bringing a hospitality model to healthcare at Intracoastal Health Systems in the 1990s, and for her leadership on many charitable and philanthropic boards including The Breast Cancer Research Foundation, Boys & Girls Clubs, Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, Planned Parenthood and Hospice.

Ms. Pappas received her Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Minnesota.
